Northwest Live Seismograph : I built this bench and have to say, it is everything I was hoping for. While my build took a lot longer than Chris's, I love how it turned out. I purchased the plans from Chris and they were excellent!

I also hand planed all the wood and built this without any hardware.

Thank you Chris for the encouragement to build something I've wanted for years; a great woodworking bench
Bert White : Absolutely awesome!!!!
liam devlin : very simple, but by adding a bit of colour to the bench legs, it made me watch your video, as every other bench making video shows a boring plain wood finish, jeez woodworkers, you need to be like this guy and add a bit of coloured woodstain to your projects! well done.
Andy Byerly : Love Your Channel....Hate to watch you use a table saw with Kevlar gloves on! OUCH!!!
Robert Garitano : Excellent video. I am scouting out work benches to build and getting some great ideas. Keep up the great work!
Roberto Aguirre : Excelente trabajo, saludos desde Argentina
Frank Kamolov : Perfect job.
David Bennett : That is a badass bench!
Jerry Hollister : Nice video. Love your work. What do you think about these plans?
codyoftheinternet : Haha sitting here on September 9th worries I would miss the deadline for the lumber deal. Only to realize that I’m a little more than just one day late...

Building a Workbench With Storage in Less Than One Hour - Only One Plywood Sheet and Some 2x4's

A workbench does not always need fancy joinery and vices. This simple workbench is quick to build (less than one hour) and it can be used for lots of different woodworking tasks.

It's built using only one plywood sheet and some 2x4 lumber. For extra strength you can add glue if you want.

The legs are 88 cm

The top is 200x70 cm
The shelf is 200x50 cm

Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe!
Mark K : Nice simple bench. Thanks for posting.

Legs 88cm = 2.89 ft (34.65 in.)
Top 200x70cm = 6.56 ft (78.74 in.) x 2.3 ft (27.56 in.)
Shelf 200x50cm = " " x 1.64 ft (19.69 in)
wigwamswe : How much 2x4's were used?
skydomain fly : Hey could you give the length of the 2x4 lumber? How many do we need to buy? Thank you for this video. Very easy!
Mason Barnett : How thick is the plywood you are using?
Patrick McGlashan : Great job! I'm going to make one. I especially liked the way you installed the lower braces. Makes it so much easier to insert the bottom shelf. I've been doing it wrong all this time. lol
Carlo Ciccone : @Dieter Schneider can you tell me what the background song is called or the name of the artist?
Enrique Gonzalez moraga : Podre hacerlo
Sufferin Succotash : I know I'm late to the comments section...but gotta let you know... great build and beautiful music
Gary Newman : As many times as I've watched this, I can't quite figure out your dimensions - H, W, L, etc.
Nyarmith : wow, this iw my favorite one

How to Build a Rolling Workbench for your Garage in One Day! [$100 build]

A rolling workbench for my garage is something I've wanted for a long time. I was able to build the wooden workbench in about six hours by myself and it has already gotten a lot of use! Because of the casters I'm using I'm able to make the workbench rolling or totally stable. If you want to recreate this work bench, I included the cut list at the bottom of the video description. Also, if anyone has tips for organizing my pegboard, I'd love to hear them!

The jigsaw I just bought:

Recreate this workbench with my lumber and cut list:
(1) 4" x 4" x 10' board - cut four 28" long pieces for legs
(4) 2" x 4" x 10' boards - cut four 75" long pieces and four 17" long pieces to make the box and four 20.5" long pieces for supports.
(6) 1" x 10" x 8' boards - cut three 85" long for top and three 82" long for bottom.
L82X : Sandals and power tools (drill) never a good combination.....
Albert Munkey : I was so hopefull for a short swimsuit part when you said you went swiming. Oh well great vid as always anyways.
KLAUS MAARTENS : To me those kreg pocket screws are for lazy people who do not want to make a stronger and better looking workbench. Mortise and tenon is the right solution. But watching Melissa is great.
shakeswell : Hi There! Your video was extremely helpful in building my first workbench. Thanks and keep up the good content!
kid pro quo : First of all, well done Melissa! Feels good to get those tools where they need to be, tucked out of the way but close. As for your wall system, check out slat wall. Its an mdf product but has a laminate finish, used in commercial stores. The backwraps, display areas, etc. Love the way you roll up your sleeves and get things done Melissa. Stay well and see ya on next one. Doug out west.
Terry WAGNER : Great Job, I’m very impressed. Please put on some sort of work shoes or boots, won’t be sexy but you will have your toes when you get to be my age.
geoffrey young : beautiful
Vantastic Pacifica : Absolutely amazing! Fed the kids, put them to bed, built a workbench in one day and made it look easy! You are a credit to your gender!
Faustino Martinez : Te ves muy sexy Saludos
Mike Wang : Good job!
